Michael Paul Rini, 55, of Dover, died Monday, May 12, 2003 following a lengthy illness.
Born August 20, 1947 at Dover, he was the son of Martin J. and Edith Herman Rini of Dover.
A 1965 graduate of Dover High School, Michael was a United States Air Force Viet-era veteran and worked as a Personnel Specialist at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton. After the service, he earned a Bachelor�(TM)s degree in Arts & Sciences from Kent State University.
Michael was a voracious reader who loved to write poetry, plays and short stories. He was very intelligent and enjoyed engaging in conversations on a variety of topics.
He was a member of the Kent State University Alumni Association, the American Legion, the Dover Elks lodge, and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by: a brother; Martin K. Rini, Jr., two nieces; Sarah and Lucy Rini, and a nephew; Woody Rini all of Richmond, KY.
At Michael�(TM)s request there will be no calling hours. A public graveside service will be held Friday, May 16, at 10:00 a.m. in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating.
