Mildred Emma Bedlion

February 27, 1912 — June 7, 2001

Mildred E. (Diefenbaugh) Bedlion, 89, of Phoenix, Arizona and a former Dover resident died June 7, 2001 in Life Care Center of North Glendale.

Mildred was born in Dover, Ohio on February 27, 1912, the daughter of the late Martin and Louise Diefenbaugh. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Earl Diefenbaugh.

Mildred moved to Phoenix in 1960 with her family. Her husband, Burton preceded her in death in 1967.

She is survived by three children Bonnie (Gilbert) Ford of Glendale, Az., Sue Ann (Greg) Watts of Phoenix, Az., and James Ford (Susan) Bedlion of Flag Staff, Az.; Five grandchildren Dr. Pam Ford, Stacey Watts, Bradley Watts, Travis Bedlion, and Bill Bedlion.

Mildred was a housemother for the Good Shephard School for Girls in the 1970�(TM)s and later enjoyed her employment at Dunkin Donuts where she earned the nickname “Fast Lane Millie”.

Rev. Steve Daniels will officiate public graveside services Friday, June 15 at 1:30 pm in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Dover. Funeral Services were previously held in Arizona.
