Mildred M. Wiegand, 95, a lifelong resident of Dover, died Monday, December 4, 2006 in Union Hospital.
Born October 20, 1911 at Dover, she was the daughter of the late John M. & Anna M. Franz Wiegand.
She was a 1929 graduate of the former St. Joseph High School, and was a faithful member of St. Joseph Church in Dover.
Survivors include: a brother, Harold “Gene” Wiegand of Dover; ten nieces and nephews, Rebecca Laubscher of Dover, Kathleen (Robert) Huprich of Sugarcreek, Timothy (Dawn) Laubscher of Baltic, David (Diane) Basso of Canton, Albert Basso of New Carlisle, Ann (Michael) Griggs of N. Canton, Patrick Wiegand of Phoenix, AZ, and Paul (Jean) Wiegand, James Wiegand and Matthew (Mary) Wiegand all of Bellview, WA; and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by: five brothers, Cletus, Maurice, Jerome, Leo and John Wiegand; and three sisters, Bernice Wiegand, Wilma Basso, and Dorothy Laubscher.
Fr. William Arnold will conduct a funeral mass, which celebrates Mildred�(TM)s life on Friday, December 8, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church in Dover. Interment will be in the church�(TM)s 6th Street Cemetery. Following the burial, a meal will be held in the St. Joseph School Activity Center. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
