Mildred Plotts Gow

Mildred Plotts Gow, 82, of Dover died Friday, June 6, 2003 at Grant Hospital in Columbus following an extended illness.

Born November 9, 1920 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Wayne M. and Cora Griffiths Plotts.

Mildred was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dover, DAR, Literary Club, Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, Dover Historical Society, Dover Band Boosters, charter member of both the South School PTA and Tuscarawas County Genealogical Society and was instrumental in keeping the Cub Scouts active during WW II. She loved to golf with her husband, play bridge and sew.

Her husband Robert F. Gow who died in1998 preceded Mildred in death.

She is survived by a daughter: Patricia A. Gow of Columbus

Son: Robert W. Gow of New Philadelphia

Dorothy Edwards of Dover

Four grandchildren: Deborah Perretta Kyle Himelstein
Tammy Jacobson Krystal Himelstein

She was also preceded in death by her daughter in law: Sandra Gow

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 9, 2003 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. James Scott officiating. Interment will be at Dover Burial Park.
