Mildred R. Zuchegno

Mildred R. Zuchegno, 92, of Dover died Friday, September 25, 2015 in the Park Village Health Care Center.

Born April 5, 1923 in Newcomerstown she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Burrier Wilkin. Mildred was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Zuchegno and a brother, Eugene Wilkin.

Mildred was a lover of animals, and was a founding member of the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, where she served as Treasurer for 35 years. She had been employed at Joy Manufacturing, Miller and Miller Accounting and eventually retired from Charles Rewinding. Mildred was also a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia.

She is survived by her sister, Lillian Wilkin of Canton; niece, Carolyn Gonder of Coshocton and numerous cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 29 at 1:00 pm in the Dover Burial Park. There are no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover is handling arrangements.
