Miriam O. Keller, 96, of Dover, Ohio died Wednesday, July 31, 2002 in the Country Club Center following a brief illness.
Born August 23, 1905 in Ragersville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Groh and Clara Widder Groh Byers.
Miriam was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church at Dover, Rebekah Lodge at Dover, Tuscarawas County AARP, Dover Senior Citizens, Dover Garden Club, Blue Star Mothers and several social card clubs. She was also the former Chaplain of the Dover Women of the Moose.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred W. Keller who died in 1970.
She is survived by her daughter Norma J. Cope of Dover and her son, Robert A. (Judy) Keller of Dover.
Two brothers Paul Groh of Dover and William (Effie) Groh of New Philadelphia.
Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren complete the family.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Evelyn M. Curtis who formerly resided in Newcomerstown, two brothers; Cloyd and Gary Groh and one sister, Opal Frantz.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Brian Nunnally officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 am.
