Mona D. Miller

Mona D. Miller, 84, of Strasburg died Sunday, March 1, 2015 in the Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia.

Born October 16, 1930 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Duke and Mae Zeigler. Mona was also preceded in death by her husband, James D. Miller on August 14, 2012 and four sister and two brothers.

Mona was a member of St. John United Church of Christ at Strasburg. Her greatest passion was her children and grandchildren; she truly loved taking care of her family.

Mona will be sadly missed by her children, Liana (Cliff) McCoy of Strasburg, David Miller of Brewster, Robin (Paul) McCoy of Beach City, Jay (Barb) Miller of Canton, Tracy (Chuck) Miller-Steinmetz of Sugarcreek; sister, Betty Doughtery of New Philadelphia; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Mona may do so by visiting the online obituaries and flowers link on the funeral homes website.
