Muriel A. Gyde

Muriel A. Gyde, 80, of New Philadelphia died Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in the Community Hospice Truman House.

Born April 28, 1937 in Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rena Matthews Ems. Muriel was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gyde on December 6, 2012; two sisters and a brother.

She retired from Calcomp in California after more than 20 years of service. Muriel was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church in Dover and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, they were the light of her life.

Muriel is survived by her children, Mark Gyde of Brea, CA and Matthew & Linda Gyde of Irvine, CA; four daughters, Marci Rocha of Buena Park, CA, Shelli & Cole Gruen of Partlow, VA, Maureen & Tim Schilling of Chanhassen, MN and Missi & Andrew Wing of New Philadelphia; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. David Wing officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday.
