Myfanwy Braun Robinson

Myfanwy B. Robinson, 92, of Dover, Ohio died Wednesday, May 21, 2003.

Born March 17, 1911 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Emily Williams Braun.

Mickey was a longtime Grey Lady at Union Hospital and editor of “The Chart” newsletter for the hospital. She was a former Society Editor for the former Daily Reporter.

Myfanwy was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dover and its Altar Guild. She was a past president and member of both the Tourist Club and the Clionion Club. She was a supporter of the Tuscarawas Philharmonic. She was a 1929 graduate of Dover High School where she was the valedictorian. She was also a 1933 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Robinson, who died July 11, 1993, and her brother, Gwilym S. Braun.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. Paul (Wendy) Raeder of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Mrs. Jan P. (Heather) Dick of Marysville, Ohio, one son, Atty. Barry R. (Sally) Robinson of Columbus, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2003 at 2 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover with Pastor Brian Nunnally officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday (today) from 7-9 pm and Saturday from 1-2 pm.
