Myrtle M. Jones

Myrtle M. Jones, 68, of 4064 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Dover, died Saturday, July 31, 1999 in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness.

She had been an employee of Dover High Performance Plastics.

Born September 19, 1930 at McDermott, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Audrey Goodman Taylor.

She enjoyed crocheting and working with crafts.

Myrtle is survived by her husband, Floyd Jones, whom she wed on March 15, 1952.

Also surviving are: six children, Terry  & Carolyn Jones of Dover, Sheri & Paul Kendle of Mineral City, Valerie & Clarence Yoder of Beach City, Tim & Michelle Jones of Canton, Patti & Joe Fuhrer of Dover, Dave & Bonnie Jones of Strasburg, eight grandchildren, Shannon, Shawn, Scott, Jason, Lisa, Michael, January & Lacey, two sisters, Donna Adkins & Shirley Taylor and a brother Harold Taylor all of Chillicothe.

In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by brothers, Jack, John, Archie, and an infant brother, and a great granddaughter Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 3, at 11:00am in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Strasburg with pastor Fred Grosse officiating.  Cremation will follow services.  Friends may call in the funeral home on Monday from 6-9pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
