N. Evon Fox, 84, of New Philadelphia passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Hennis Care Center in Dover.
Born on June 26, 1933 in Drew County, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Weaver H. and Adelle (Kellum) Arnold. She was also preceded in death by her daughter; Jennifer Kneuss; grandson, Gus Kneuss; and four sisters, Jeanette Curtis, Vivian Harmon, Fern Brawley, and Isobel Heath.
Evon received her GED from Dover High School. She was a nurses aid at Union Hospital and also drove senior citizens for Christian Heritage in Canton. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in New Philadelphia and loved flowers, especially roses, and gardening.
On June 30, 1957, she married the love of her life, Theodore “Ted” Fox, who survives. She will also be missed by her son, Jonathan Fox of Dover; along with six grandchildren, Luke, Keturah, Isaac, Klayiah, Lydia and Abigail.
Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 5-7pm. A celebration of Evon’s life will take place at Calvary Baptist Church in New Philadelphia on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10 am with Pastor Don Snow officiating. Burial will follow at Dover Burial Park. Following the service of committal, a meal will be served in the church social hall.
