Nancy C. Steiner

Nancy C. Steiner, 73, of 423 Front St. S.W., New Philadelphia, Ohio died Thursday, March 21, 2002 in the Hennis Care Centre following a long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was a former waitress for several area establishments including Leonard�(TM)s Restaurant, Brooklyn Grill, Good Haus, Limby�(TM)s, and the Dover and New Philadelphia Eagles Lodges.

Born March 1, 1929 in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Amanda Collins Seggie.

Nancy was a member of the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Newcomerstown. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Steiner who died June 16, 1998.

She is survived by four sons; James Bragg of Knoxville, Tenn., Michael (Diana) Bragg of New Philadelphia, Patrick (Chrystle) Bragg of Dover and Michael (Debra) Jones of New Philadelphia; two daughters, Nancy Lawrence and Metha Steiner both of New Philadelphia. Sixteen grandchildren; Dawn Bragg and Daniel Sledge both of Akron, Christopher (Kathy) Bragg of Dover, Sarah and Dustin Barrington of Massillon, James Bragg Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn., Lori Bragg, Derek Steiner, Joeleen and James Lawrence, Matthew and Lacy Bugbee, Jeannie, Jessie, and Jordan Jones, Mark and Gabrielle Bragg all of New Philadelphia. Three great grandsons, Adam and Zack Rennicker and Dustin Barrington, Jr. She is also survived by one brother, Charles (Delores) Keibler of Export, Pa., and a brother in law, Markco Steiner of East Liverpool and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Mark and John Bragg and two brothers.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 25, 2002 at 12:30 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Fr. Edward Keck officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where Christian Wake services will be held at 8:30 pm.
