Nancy Carol Harrington Sarver, age 72, of Lafayette Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Lafayette, and a former resident of Dover, died Thursday, April 12, 2012, from the effects of Alzheimer's Disease.
Born Jan. 12, 1940, in Roane County, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Harless and Esther White. Nancy attended school in West Virginia, and moved to Ohio where she worked as a home health aide.
She was a member of Midvale United Methodist Church. Nancy had "a spit-fire personality," and enjoyed going to garage sales and caring for her rescued white German Shepherd, Snowball.
Survivors include her three daughters, Diane (Lawrence) Mick of Newcomerstown, Robin (Brent) Annon of New Philadelphia, and Tanya Sarver of Uhrichsville; her four sons, Bill (Joanie) and David(Lisa) Yuhos, both of Lorain; Gordon (Kathy) Davis of Canton, and John Sarver of New Philadelphia; her seventeen grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Tina, Steven, Thomas, Kortni, James, Joseph, Quintin, Holly, Heidi, Joshua, Billy, David, Justin, Brittany and Tyler; her seventeen great-grandchildren, Shalea, Drevon, Audrey, Mara, Trinity, Kyryn, Hannah, Paige, Brooklyn, Tia, Cody, Mason, Cody, Chance, Madison,
Mason and Brady; her sister, Vivian Kannard of Lorain; her brothers, Butch and Richard White, both also of Lorain.
