Naomi R. Prysi, 84, of Dundee died Friday, September 25, 2015 at Aultman Hospital.
Born October 13, 1930 in Strasburg she was a daughter of the late Lyhl and Beatrice Yackey Deibel. Naomi was also preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
She was a dedicated homemaker who also enjoyed working with her husband in the Prysi Cow-ntry Kitchen food trailer. Naomi was a member of the Winfield Grange and loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, going to the Tuscarawas County Fair and baking, especially making her cut out cookies.
A wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother, Naomi will be sadly missed by her husband of 58 years, Dean Prysi, whom she married on March 23, 1957; children, Larry (Deb) Prysi of Newcomerstown, Linda (Fred) Wenger of New Philadelphia, Loren (Mary) Prysi of Dundee, Laverne (Jessica) Prysi of Hebron; siblings, Ray (Carol) Deibel of Dalton, Eloise Thomas of Strasburg, Fritz Deibel of Canton, Helen Marshal of Richfield, Esther (Harold) Eckelberry; grandchildren, Lawrence (Misty) Prysi, Leanne (Brent) Workman, Joel Wenger, Erika (Travis) Smith, Lannah and Laykin Prysi and Sydni Prysi; great grandchildren, Gavin and Ryker Prysi, Breanne, Gage and Cooper Workman.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 29 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. LuAnn Youngman officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia. Following the burial, a luncheon will be held at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 pm.
