Nora Artus

Nora V. Artus, 96 formally of Ricksecker St. in Dover died Sunday, December 26, 1999 at the Country Club Retirement Center. Born February 19, 1903 in Newark, New Jersey she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Pauline Schmidt Boutilier. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in New Philadelphia and the New Philadelphia Eastern Star. Nora was preceded in death by her first husband William Boyle who died in 1970 and her second husband Edward Artus who died in 1973. She is survived by her son-in-law: Ken Hofacker of Dundee. Granddaughter: Kathy Meyer of Larksbur, Colorado. Grandson: Keith Hofacker of Bowling Green, Ohio. Two great grandchildren: Heather and Holly Meyer. One step granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Doris Hofacker, seven sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 1999 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Mark Behrendt officiating. Interment will be at the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
