Nora Mae Garber, 86, of Strasburg, died Tuesday, July 22, 2002 in the Park Village Health Care Center.
She was retired from the Strasburg branch of the Tuscarawas County Public Library where she had worked as Librarian for 23 years.
Born July 14, 1916 at Stambaugh, Michigan, she was daughter of the late Edwin Stanley and Jennie May Reese Hartline.
A member of the St. John United Church of Christ at Strasburg, Nora was also a graduate of Central State Teachers College at Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen R. Garber, who passed away on July 4, 1983.
Survivors include: two sons; Gary L. Garber of Strasburg and Glenn D. (Michele) Garber of Dover, a brother, Frank (Alice) Hartline of Wooster, nephew, Myron Hartline of Phoenix, AZ, and a niece, Marilyn Hartline, of Columbus.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, July 25, at 11:30am in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Rev Gerald G. Schuessler officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg. Friends may call in the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8pm.
