Norma J. Patterson Dietrich, 70, of Dover died Saturday, December 2, 2006 at her home surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with Parkinson�(TM)s disease.
Born March 12, 1936 in New Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Fannie White Patterson.
She worked at Alsco in Sugarcreek for 15 years and then at Hill�(TM)s Department Store at New Philadelphia for 15 years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Norma was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Diana (Michael) Bragg of New Philadelphia and Karen Milyiori and her fiancee James Pusateri of Dover; four grandchildren, Chris (Cathy) Bragg, Lori (Elmer) Stolicny, George (Paula) Smart and Mandie Smart; 10 great grandchildren, Audreanne, Adam, Kayla, Devin, Zach, Alexandre, Desiree, Alexis, Caitlyn and Chelsie.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Max, Sam, Bobby and Homer Patterson; three sisters, Martha Denslow, Frances Rybarczyk and Mary Alice Menges.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at 246 E High Ave. New Philadelphia with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral ceremony. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with Christian Wake services starting at 7:45 pm.
