Oliver R. Humerickhouse, 95, of Fairview Park, Ohio and formerly of Stone Creek died Friday, September 9, 2005 at his home.
He retired from Jim Boltz Excavating as a heavy machine operator. Oliver also enjoyed farming and owned and operated his own harvesting company.
Born September 15, 1909 in New Philadelphia he was a son of the late Fred and Emma Stucky Humerickhouse.
He was a member of Jerusalem Church, Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau and the Public Operators Union.
Oliver was preceded in death by his wife, Lorena Humerickhouse who died on September 13, 1998.
A devoted family man, Oliver is survived by a son, Charles (Doris) Humerickhouse of Cincinnati; daughter, Jo Ann (Donald) Wagner of Fairview Park; six grandchildren, Kenneth, Michael and Douglas Humerickhouse, Victoria Humerickhouse-Vollet, David Wagner and Kathleen Stepp; four great grandchildren; sister, Laura Murphy of New Philadelphia; brother, Elmer Humerickhouse of Canton.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Ludy and Goldie Humerickhouse and a brother, Willis Humerickhouse.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover with Rev. Terry Downin officiating.
