Olympia Manners, 84, of New Philadelphia and formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania died Sunday, January 19, 2003 at Alterra Clare Bridge Cottage following an extended illness.
Born February 27, 1918 in Boston, Massachusetts she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Helen Vasilopoulos.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Pittsburgh and was an avid Steelers fan.
Olympia was preceded in death by her husband George Manners Sr. who died on June 19, 1998.
She is survived by two sons: George Manners Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona

Sister: Katherine (Michael) Garone of Hicksville, New York
Brother: Nicholas Vasilopoulos of Pittsburgh

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at 7:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Mark Trotter officiating. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Funeral services and interment will take place in Pittsburgh.
