Omer Sexton

Omer Sexton, loving husband, father and pap, went home to be with our Lord on August 30, 2004.

He was born February 16, 1940 in Strasburg to the late Kelse and Maude Fannin Sexton.

Omer enjoyed golfing, hunting and watching the Cleveland Indians. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife, Edna Graves Sexton and their children, Steve and Yvette, Suzi and John, Ed and Kathy, Regina, Dan, Scott and friend Tricia Shaw. Other survivors include: five grandsons, four granddaughters, one great grandson, a great granddaughter, brothers, Clifford and Maxine Sexton of Massillon, Kelse and Lois Sexton, Jr. of Strasburg and Glenn and Beulah Sexton also of Strasburg; many nieces, nephews and countless friends.

In addition to his parents, Omer was preceded in death by six brothers.

A funeral ceremony that celebrates Omer�(TM)s life will be held Friday, September 3 at 1:00 p.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Strasburg. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Following the burial, friends and family will gather at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center for a light meal and continued time of remembrance.

Friends may call in the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 p.m.
