Palmerino ''Pammy'' Cercone, 91, of Dover died Friday, October 19, 2001 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.
He was employed for 27 years at Reeves Steel, and retired after 20 years from LTV Steel at Massillon.
Born March 22, 1910 in Columbus, Ohio he was a son of the late Raphael and Benigna Pace Cercone.
Pammy was a dedicated member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he served as an usher for 60 years. He was also a member of the Dover Moose, 7th St. Tigers and the Italian American Club where he and Tonetta were honored as 1994 Hostess's for the festival.
Pammy enjoyed spending time with his family, selling raffle tickets for various organizations, playing cards and attending numerous sporting events for Dover and Central Catholic Schools. He also greatly enjoyed helping his son at Rick's Motor Sales.
Survivors include his wife Antoinette ''Tonetta'' Frank Cercone with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.

Pammy was an outstanding husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of us.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 22, 2001 at 1:00 pm in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. Mike Nimocks officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with Christian Wake services starting at 8:30 pm.
