Pamela G. Owens

Pamela G. "Pam" Owens, age 58, of New Philadelphia, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday, December 24, 2014, in her home.

Born July 27, 1956, in Dennison, Pam was the daughter of Erma (Chandler) Walton of New Philadelphia, and the late Terrence Walton. She attended Claymont High School, Uhrichsville, was a homemaker and employed by Dover's Union Hospital in the housekeeping department.

Pam was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was devoted to her family. She was kind-hearted and always willing to lend a helping hand. She was also a member of NewPointe Community Church, Dover.

In addition to her mother, Pam will be sadly missed by her husband, William G. "Bill" Owens, whom she married July 16, 2004; her daughter, Laura (husband, Mark) Burke of New Philadelphia; her son, Travis (wife, Jennifer) Armstrong of Parma; her step-sons, Kevin (wife, Amy) Owens of Dover, and David (wife, Angie) Owens of Uhrichsville; her grandchildren, Chantz, Hanna and Gavin Burke, Alex and Aaron Hoffman, Logan, Michael and Parker Owens; her brothers, Rick (wife, Patsy) Walton of Jasper, Alabama, and Ronnie Walton of Dennison; and her nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Sunday, December 28, 2:30 4:30 p.m. Private services will be held.

The family suggests that contributions in Pam's memory be made to NewPointe Community Church, 3950 State Route 39 N.W., Dover, Ohio 44622.
