Pamela M. "Pam" Nisley

Pamela M. “Pam” Nisley, age 72, of New Philadelphia, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 23, 2023, in Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, Dover.

Born January 31, 1951 in Canton, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Ruth Householder Williams. Pam graduated from Dover High School in 1969 and was employed by Miller Studios in  New Philadelphia. She later went to work for the J.C. Penney Co., also of New Philadelphia, from which she retired after 30 years of service.

Pam was baptized in the Sugarcreek Free Methodist Church, which later became NewPointe Community Church, Dover, that she continued to attend. Pam had a kind heart and loved animals. She also enjoyed shopping and decorating her home for all different holidays. Most importantly, Pam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Roman M. Nisley, whom she married on October 8, 1988; her children, Michelle Garbrandt of Gnadenhutten, and Brett (Hesham Ismail) Stalnaker of 

 New Port Richey, Florida; her grandchildren, Brittiani Garbrandt (Bryan) Lewis, Kallie (Wesley Lewis), Trevor and Alisha Garbrandt; her great-grandchildren, Bailey and Brantley Lewis; her sister, Lori (Dan) Grewell; her brothers, Larry (Lori) and David (Diana) Williams; and her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her infant twin sister, Paula Williams.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Thursday, October 26, 6 - 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 27, at 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park. Following the committal service, there will be a lunch in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center on the Boulevard in Dover.
