Patricia A. Kurtz

Patricia A. Kurtz, 63, of Dover died Tuesday, July 3, 2001 at her home following a sudden illness.

Born January 27, 1938 in Glenville, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Roy Waggy and Alma Reiser Kennedy

She was a member of Winfield United Methodist Church, and enjoyed gardening and country music.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband James L. Kurtz who died on February 28, 1999.

She is survived by her four children: Michael Kurtz of Cleveland
Barbara Kurtz of Dover
Diana Greer of New Philadelphia
Betty Kurtz of Strasburg

Three sisters: Mary and Dale Shutt of Orville
Marge and Steve Lewellen of West Virginia
Marilyn and Barney Law of Dover

Companion and caregiver, Doug Fowler

Nine grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Kurtz

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2001 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Lu Ann Youngman and Rev. Dan Legg officiating. Interment will be at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-8 pm.
