Patricia Ann Stein, 69, of Dover, went into the loving arms of her Lord while surrounded by family at her bedside on Tuesday, January 15, 2013.
Born March 29, 1943 at Dover, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt & Mildred Emma Sillvius Hendricks.
She retired from New Dawn Health Care Center where she had worked for 28 years as a STNA.
Patricia was a devoted Christian and was very active with the Salvation Army. Over the years she had enjoyed Bible studies and retreats, and had taught Sunday School. She had a great heart for her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Games like Kings Corners and Scrabble were her favorites. She attended Strasburg High School.
On February 7, she would have celebrated 53 years of marriage to the love of her life, Glenn Stein, who survives.
Other surviving family members include: five children, John Michael (Mary) Stein of Akron, Cathy Jean (Steven) Harris of Massillon, Gary Andrew (Corina) Stein of Wellsville, Joy Ellen (James) Frederick of Beloit and Mark Glenn (Jennie) Stein of New Philadelphia; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren with two more on the way; and two brothers, Norman Hendricks of Strasburg and Ira Hendricks of Tippecanoe.
Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by: an infant daughter, Linda Joy; two sisters, Doris Conley and Lulubelle Stein; and infant granddaughter, Kimberly Renae; infant grandson Gabriel Michael; and a great grandson, Elijah Michael Wenig.
A funeral service celebrating Patricia's life will be held Thursday, January 17 at 5:00 p.m. in the Salvation Army, 809 Emmet Ave. NW, New Phila. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until time of services at 5:00 p.m.
