Patricia L. Loibl

Patricia L. Loibl, 71, of New Philadelphia passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at New Dawn Health Care Center in Dover.

Born on May 18, 1946 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Harland and Helen (Wayble) Maurer.

Patricia was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School in 1964. On May 2, 1970 she married Samuel Loibl who preceded her in death on August 6, 2013. She was also preceded in death by two infant brothers; her brother, Kenny Maurer; and her grandson, Jory Loibl.

She enjoyed traveling with Samuel. She retired from Judge Edward O’Farrell’s office where she was the administrative assistant for many years. Patricia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover where she was involved with the St. Joseph Seniors.

She will be sadly missed by her children; James P. (Irene) Swisher of Alabama, Kevin S. (Lisa) Swisher of New Philadelphia, and Brian (Jackie) Loibl of Bolivar; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Makaila, Lucas, and Riley; her sister, Sondra Pauline of Dover, and her brother; Harland (Ann) Maurer of Dover.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will take place at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:30am with Deacon Lyn Houze officiating. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 4-7pm.
