Patricia "Pat" Kugler Allison

Patricia "Pat"  (Kugler)  Allison, age 91, of Dover passed away on November 4, 2022 at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.

Pat was born on October 3, 1931, in Stone Creek, Ohio to the late Elmer Lorenz and the late Gertrude (Beitzel) Lorenz.

Pat retired in April 1988, after 30 years of service at WPAFB in Dayton, Ohio. She was a 1949 graduate of Stone Creek High School. She sang in the girl's chorus for 4 years and was a member of the Band and a basketball cheerleader. After graduation she worked at a Pontiac dealership in New Philadelphia and later at Citizens Bank in New Philadelphia. She loved the outdoors, traveling, working in her flower garden and taking long walks. She also volunteered at the Cleveland Clinic at Union Hospital.

She married William (Bill) Kugler who died in 1998. They had on son, Randy who with wife Carlene live in Manzanita, Oregon. Pat had 4 grandchildren Elliott (Donica) Kugler in Lacey Washington, Hanna (Gabe) Callaway in Damascus Oregon, Rachael in Corvallis Oregon and Evan (Kaisha) in Pendleton Oregon in addition to 6 great grandchildren.

In 2002, Pat married Jim Allison who died in 2015. She had 3 step children Cindi (companion Pedro West) Uebel of New Philadelphia, Greg (Becky) Allison of New Philadelphia and Jeff (Candy) Allison of Millersburg. She also leaves behind 13 step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers Bernard and Jim Lorenz and sisters Marian Lorenz and Doris Hanson. Pat was a member of Grace Community Church in Stone Creek and attended St. Johns United Church of Christ in Dover.

A funeral service will take place at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dotty Hartzell officiating.  Burial will follow at Stone Creek Cemetery.  To sign an online guestbook for Pat, visit the obituary link on the funeral home's website.
