Patsy J. "Pat" Tarulli

Patsy J. "Pat " Tarulli, 91, of Dover passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Country Club Retirement Campus in Dover.

Born in Pratola Pelinga, Italy on April 12, 1925, he was the son of the late Chester and Lucia DiNino Tarulli. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Tom, John, Gene, and Dean Tarulli along with his sister, Rita Amick.

On August 26, 1950 he married Madeline "Maggie" Galanga, who survives. This year they would have celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Pat retired in 1989 from Tom Hamsher Insurance, where he was an agent. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was elected Knight of the year in 1962. He was also a member of the Dover VFW. He was a Dover Civil Service Commissioner and served as the chairman and past President of the Tuscarawas County Golf Association. He also was the Chairman for the March of Dimes in Tuscarawas County.

Pat's passion for golf was undeniable and his achievements were many. After retiring he and his wife, Madeline, enjoyed many days together on the golf course at Atwood, where he was a member.

In addition to his wife, Madeline, he will be sadly missed by his daughter; Judy (Mike) Bour of New Philadelphia; sons, Michael (Rita) Tarulli, and James (Diane) Tarulli both of Charlotte, NC; his brother, Chester (Julia) Tarulli of New Philadelphia; a sister, Clara (Delbert) Nething of Canton; grandchildren, Sara (Robert) Klingbail, Matthew Bour, Saundra (Mark) Davis, Jason (Irena) Tarulli, Nick Tarulli, Lauren Tarulli, and Rachel Tarulli; six great-grandchildren, Ellie, Trey, Eric, Todd, Angelina, and Dominik.

Pat's life will be celebrated on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:30am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover with Deacon Ron Fondriest officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery at Dover. A reception will follow in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center.
