Paul F. Rufenacht, 98, of Stow and a longtime resident of the Dellroy area, died Thursday, September 28, 2000 in Akron City Hospital.
He was retired from Wright Tool in Barberton where he had worked as Shop Foreman.
Born December 17, 1901 at Warren Township, Tuscarawas County, he was son of the late Frederick & Mary Rausch Rufenacht.
Paul was a member of the Tuscarawas Lodge #59 for over 70 years and had also attended the Masonic Lodges in Leesville and Carrollton. He was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Akron and had been a member of Christ Community Church at Dellroy. He was a member of the Alpha Pi fraternity. He had enjoyed traveling with his late wife, Clara Willison Rufenacht, who passed away on May 25, 1978.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews including:
Ervin King of Malvern, Patty Boxler of Akron, and Hilda Schneider of Parral.
A public graveside service will be held Monday, October 2, at 11:00am in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Akron with Rev. David Kiewit officiating. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Sunday from 2-4pm. Masonic services will be held at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Hospital Medical Center at Akron or the charity of the donor's choice.
