Paul R. Hayes, 72, of Dover died Friday, February 4, 2000 at the home of his son in Dallas Texas.
He retired from Reese Trucking and had formerly worked for A.J. Weigand Trucking both in Dover.
Born September 3, 1927 in Uhrichsville he was a son of the late Charles and Anna Hayes.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a Navy Veteran of WW II.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Contini Hayes, who died on June 3, 1995.
He is survived by four children: John P. and Jo Ann Hayes of Dallas, Texas.
Deb and Randy Levengood of Bolivar.
Paula and David Casto of Irving, Texas.
Susan and Dan Murtaugh of Dover.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, grandson and four great grandchilden.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2000 at 10:30 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
