Paula M. Griffith

Paula M. Griffith, age 53, of Dennison, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

Born March 28, 1968, in Dover, she was the daughter of Charlotte J. Jones Deems of Dennison, and the late Larry D. Lang. Paula graduated from Dover High School in 1986, and took college courses as she was able. For several years she owned Second Chance Consignment Store in New Philadelphia.

Foremost, Paula loved her family, they were her true joy. Some of her favorite pastimes were crocheting - often making items for loved ones, crafting, cosplay and coloring.

In addition to her mother, Paula is survived by her children, Dennis (Deanna) Griffith III of Uhrichsville, and Cassondra (Randall) Schuler of Freeport; her grandchildren, Ivy, Wrex, Garnet, Randall, and another grandson expected in May of 2022; her aunt, Sandra Holmes; her uncle, Roy Jones; and her many cousins and friends.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Lonnie E. Deems.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Thursday, December 9, 6 - 8 p.m. Honoring Paula’s wishes, she will be cremated and her cremated remains will be scattered later privately.
