Pauline E. Deibel, 90, died Friday, November 9, 2007 in Oak Point Nursing Home in Baltic.
Born August 25, 1917 in Newton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Nettie (Noe) Jarvis. She married the love of her life, Bob Deibel who preceded her in death in 1984.
Pauline worked at Sparta in Columbia for many years. She thoroughly enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She spent a lot of time baking in her kitchen. She especially loved baking cookies for her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Strasburg and a former member of the Eastern Star of Strasburg.
She is survived by her daughter Eleanora Lebold of New Philadelphia; a son, Phares (wife, Paula) Hensley of Dennison; three sisters, Hazel Miller of Berlin, Garnet Hensley of Nitro, West Virginia, Nancy Bell of Carbondale, IL; a brother, Billy Jarvis of Newton, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Vicki Beamer, Rick Lebold and Tyler Hensley; and five great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Heath and Lance Lebold, and Audrea and Carson Beamer.
She is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jim Lebold; two sisters, Dixie Finley and Lucy Chase; two brothers, Lewis and Herb Jarvis and a Brother-in-law Weldon Miller.
A graveside service will take place at Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Steven Woyen officiating. Arrangements are be made through the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Strasburg.
