Pauline E. McCartney, 89, of Dover, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002 in the New Dawn Health Care Center.
She and her late husband had owned and operated McCartney�(TM)s General Store in New Cumberland.
Born April 8, 1913 at New Cumberland, she was son of the late Earl & Maude Stiffler Richmond.
She was a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church at New Philadelphia. She had been a member of the former Orange chapter of the Eastern Star in Leesville. She enjoyed working with her flowers and cooking.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Willard B. McCartney, who died November 3, 1995.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by a daughter, Mona Jean McCartney, and two brothers, Glen & Bruce Richmond.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 2:30pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Rev. Jim Spencer officiating. Interment will be in the New Cumberland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to services.
