Pauline Irene Fry, 88, of New Philadelphia passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Hennis Care Centre in Dover.
Born on March 7, 1925 in Roswell, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Kamelia Malatt Fabiano. Pauline graduated from Mineral City High School. She married the love of her life, Clayton Fry, in October of 1945. Clayton preceded her in death on June 11, 2000. She is also preceded in death by her daughter; Jill Llewellyn; brother, Vincent Fabiano; and sister, Arlene Todd.
In 1987, she retired from the Wonder Bread Thrift Store in Dover.
Pauline was a member of the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing cards with many friends. She also loved crocheting and reading.
She will be sadly missed by her son in-law; Michael Llewellyn of Dover; sister, Emily "Millie" Robis of New Philadelphia; grandson, Shane Llewellyn of Dover; two nieces, Sandra (Stu) Fine of Pennsylvania, Cindy (Ron) Felgenhauer of Stone Creek; and her nephew, Tim (Ida) Todd of New Cumberland.
Pauline's family would like to express their appreciation of the care that they received from the staff at Hennis Care Centre.
A celebration of Pauline's life will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Randy Haney officiating. Interment will take place at Dover Burial Park. Following the service of committal, a meal will be served at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12-1 pm.
