Peter Adrian Yockey

Peter Adrian Yockey, 79, of Dover, died Monday, November 13, 2000 in Aultman Hospital.

He retired in 1983 as traveling auditor for the National Life Insurance Company, which is now American General.

Born February 8, 1921 at Dover, he was son of the late Peter & Mary Schmidt Yockey.

He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and had been very active with church activities. He was also a member of the New Philadelphia Elks Club and was an Army veteran who served during World War II.

On June 8, 1946 he married the former Betty Hines who survives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Talmadge & Lowell.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 17 at 1pm in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Scott officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Thursday from 5-7pm.
