Preston T. Morrison Ii

Preston T. Morrison II, age 32, of Dover, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015.

Born June 11, 1983, in Dover, he was a son of Preston T. (Sherrie Murray) Morrison Sr. of Dover, and Linda Beehler (Terry) White of Newcomerstown. Preston attended Dover High School and later earned his high school equivalency credential. He was employed by Hicks Roofing of New Philadelphia hard work that he loved, especially when he was with his work-partner and buddy, Pete.

Preston adored his three children, Preston III, Jada and Kaylee Morrison, and truly shined when he was with them. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, camping and following football and basketball.

In addition to his parents, step-parents, and children, Preston is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Thompson) Morrison; his sisters, Michelle Morrison of Newcomerstown, and Melissa Morrison of Chicago; his brother, Johnny Morrison of Newcomerstown; his step-sisters, Danelle Johnson and Karen White; his step-brothers, Bryce Murray, Jason Murray Jr., Terry White Jr. and Andrew McClain; the mother of his children, Nickie Ryan; Preston Sr.'s former wife, Maudie Morrison, who played a major role in Preston II's upbringing; his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preston's grandparents, Robert and Harriet Morrison and John and Shirley Beehler, preceded him in death.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Sunday, August 2, 2 5 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 3, at 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home, with Pastor David Wing officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park, New Philadelphia.
