Ralph M. Inverso

Ralph M. Inverso, 90, of Dover passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at his home.

Born on April 7, 1926 in Niles, Ohio, Ralph was the son of the late Anthony and Lena (Sica) Inverso. He honorably served in the United States Army during WWII in the European Theatre, where he received a purple heart.

On June 29, 1952 he married the love of his life, Doris Terazzi, who survives. This year, they would have celebrated 64 years of marriage. Ralph retired from the former Reeves Steel where he worked for over 40 years.

Ralph was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. He enjoyed hunting with his sons and friends. He especially liked big game hunting, and was a member of the Zoar and B & A Hunting Club. He was also a member of the Dover VFW. Ralph was a talented artist who gave many of his paintings to his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Doris, he will be sadly missed by his children; Michael (Ann) Inverso of Dover, Dr. Jill Inverso (Dr. David Simmons) of Villanova, PA, Chris (Andrea) Inverso of Danville, and Ann (Gary) Smith of Dover; along with ten grandchildren; Zachary, Cody, Corie, Jessica, Becky, Katie, Amanda, Emily, Dani, and Tony; and ten great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 10:30 am with Deacon Lyn Houze officiating. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery in Dover where the Dover VFW will conduct military honors. Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Wednesday, June 22 2016 from 5-6:45pm. A Christian Wake Service will take place at 6:45pm.
