Randy L. Crouse, 65, of Strasburg passed away at his home on Friday, December 8, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Dover on March 21, 1958 and was a son of the late Ron and Beverly Warren Crouse. Randy was also preceded in death by is brother, Ricky Crouse and grandson, Roman Failla.
After proudly serving in the Navy, Randy began his career at ITT in Strasburg, where he dedicated over 17 years of his life. Later on, he joined Sugardale Meats in Canton and served them diligently for 12 years until his retirement in 2013. Randy also served as a volunteer fireman for the Stasburg Fire Department for 20 years. When he wasn't busy with his career or spending time with family and friends, Randy indulged in various hobbies and interests that brought him immense joy. Woodworking was one of his passions - he had a knack for creating beautiful items out of raw materials. Fishing trips allowed him to connect with nature and find peace by the water. Camping adventures allowed him to bond with loved ones while enjoying the great outdoors. Additionally, Randy had a competitive spirit when it came to playing cards - he always knew how to keep things lively and exciting.
Randy is survived by his wife of over four decades, Beth Smith Crouse, whom he married on June 12, 1982. He was also a loving father to Ashley (Joe) Failla of Canton, Nathan (Jen) Crouse of Dover, Shawn Crouse of Kent, Mikaylee Crouse of Dover, and Tara Ramos of Canton. In addition to his immediate family, Randy leaves behind his cherished sisters, Melody (Tim) Blakely, Sheri (Janet) Crouse, and Lisa (Bob) Polen, all residing in Florida; niece, Adrianne Rinehart; nephew, Andrew Polen. Randy's legacy lives on through his many grandchildren, including - Aubrey and London Failla, Ashlynn Crouse, and Austin Stevenson. He adored them deeply, and their presence brought immense joy to his life. His great-grandchildren, including, Oliver and Eloise Stevenson, and his beloved dog, Penny brought an extra spark of happiness to his heart.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
