The Lord has called our husband, son, father and brother home Wednesday
morning, March 30, 2005..
Randy E. Swihart, 40, of Gnadenhutten was born in Canton, O. on Sept. 10,
1964. He was a son of Linda (Breining) and Tom Lorentz of Canton and Eugene
Swihart of Atwood Lake. Randy will be greeted in Heaven by his maternal
grandparents, Winona and Willard Poling, and his paternal grandparents
Lleita and Glenn Swihart, and his namesake, Uncle Randy Swihart.
He was employed at Reymond Products in New Philadelphia where he cherished a
special relationship with his employer, Greg Dean of Canton. He loved the
outdoors especially camping, fishing and hunting. He was very involved with
his daughters in coaching girls�(TM) softball at Tuscarawas for ages 14 and
under in 2004 and at Midvale age 12 and under in 2003.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Terrie (Slankard)
Swihart, and daughters, Michaela Slankard of the home, Telisha and Alexis
Swihart of Kearny, Ariz.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Jodi Swihart
of Strasburg and Mike and Samantha Breining of Canton, Brian and Tricia Breining of Massillon, and Tommy and Lori Breining of Canton; sisters and
brothers-in-law, Veronica and Brent Johnson of Dover, Michelle and Kirk
Triplett of Uhrichsville and Geana and Tim Vogel of New Philadelphia;
numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Randy�(TM)s life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at
1:30 p.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover with
Pastor Chad Stutzman of the Sugarcreek Free Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be at the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends can call at the
funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Those wishing to express
