Ray E. "Razor" Watkins

Ray E. “Razor” Watkins, 66, of Strasburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the Community Hospice Truman House.



Born July 13, 1953 in Dover, he was a son of the late William and Hazel Rothacher Watkins. Razor was also preceded in death by his son in law, Tim Miller. He was employed with the Village of Strasburg for almost 10 years and retired from Belden Brick in Sugarcreek after more than 30 years of service. Always one to be outdoors, Razor enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing a round of golf. He loved being with his family, especially following his grandchildren with their sporting and school activities.



Razor is survived by his children, Vanessa (Steve) McConnell of Carrollton, Jayna Miller, Eric (Danielle) Watkins both of Strasburg; siblings, Etta Mae Green, Patty Skinner, Sandy Conerly, Diane McNutt, Tommy, Richard, Jimmy and David Watkins; grandchildren, Christian, Alyssa and Tressel Miller, Rayelle and Cole Watkins.



Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg. A private memorial service will be held.
