Raymond A. Snyder

Raymond A. Snyder, 61, of Dover died Friday, November 24, 2000 at Aultman Hospital following an extended illness.

He retired in 1997 from Marsh Industries after 20 years of service.

Born September 23, 1939 in Akron he was the son of the late Benjamin and Alice Capron Snyder.

He enjoyed playing the guitar, and played with many area bands. He was a member of Ohio Country Music Association and the Lone Star Lodge 175 F & AM in Newcomerstown.

Raymond is survived by his wife Norma Browning Snyder with whom he would have celebrated 40 years of marriage on February 18, 2001.

He is also survived by two sons: Ted Snyder and his companion Penny Ford of New

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2000 at 10:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Melvin Browning officiating. Interment will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. A reception will follow the committal service at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Monday from 6-9 pm where Masonic services will be held at 5:45.
