Rev. Paul W. Krebs

Rev. Paul William Krebs, age 79, of Starr, South Carolina and a former Dover resident died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at the Anderson Area Medical Center in Anderson, S.C.

Born December 24, 1925 in Dover, Ohio, he was the son of Edna King Krebs of Dover and the late Homer Krebs.

He pastored for more than 50 years in the Foursquare Gospel Church in New York, Washington DC, Ohio, and retired in 1995 from Rochester, New York. He was a member and served as the Senior�(TM)s Pastor of the First Assembly of God in Anderson, SC. He was a United States Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Marie Sweitzer Krebs who died Nov. 7, 1984 and a brother, Donald Krebs.

Rev. Krebs is survived by his wife, Marilyn E. Krebs of the home; daughters, Marla Kay (Don) Allen and Marcine (Gary) Baker, both of York, Pa., stepdaughters, Angela Buck of New Hampshire, Pamela Smith and Cheryl Raczynski, both of California; one brother, Charles Krebs of New Philadelphia, Ohio; one sister, Gloria Kleinhen of Rootstown, Ohio; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 11am in the Foursquare Gospel Church at Dover with Rev. Dewey Morrow officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover and Thursday from 10:30 am to the time of service.
