Richard A. Petrella

Richard A. Petrella, 75, of Youngstown passed away at his home on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

Born on September 22, 1947 in Dover, Ohio he was the son of the late Vincent and Joann Tsantis Petrella. Richard was a co-owner of Kitchen and Bath World Distributing, having retired in 2010 after 23 years. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Army. Richard was a member of the St. Charles Church in Boardman and was also a member of the Boardman Hospice Association. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching all sporting activities.

Richard is survived by his children, Jennifer Langer and Matthew (Lindsay) Petrella both of Colorado; sisters, Barbara Petrella of Powell and Sharon (Diane) Petrella of Youngstown.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A service celebrating Richard’s life will be held on Friday, November 4th starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Fr. Jimmy Hatfield officiating. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
