Richard L. ''Buddy'' Quillen

Richard L. ''Buddy'' Quillen, 48, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, May 2, 2001 in Aultman Hospital at Canton.

Before moving back to Ohio, he had been employed at the Ft. Meade VA Hospital in South Dakota. He had been currently enrolled at Kent State University Tuscarawas Campus.

Buddy served 8 years in the US Air Force.

Born April 22, 1953 at Laramie, Wyoming, he was son of the late Donald F. & Nancy Hysong Quillen.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kathy Finn Quillen.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 6, at 3pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Rev. Bruce Weaknecht officiating. In keeping with Buddy's wishes, cremation will follow services.

Friends may call in the funeral home on Sunday from 1-3pm.
