Rita M. Maroscher, age 62, of Uhrichsville, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, in the home of her sister, Carmen Maurer, in Dover.
Born May 30, 1953, in Columbus, she was a daughter of Bruno Maroscher of Bluffton, and the late Martha Jane McNaughton Maroscher. Rita attended school in Bluffton, and began her career working at the family's business, Bruno's I.G.A. She went on to be employed by Food Lion grocery stores as a meat cutter, and later retired as market manager. Rita was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Albert P. Tecza, whom she married on October 4, 1994; her daughters, Erin (Tom) Hodgson, Rachel (Ed) Langston and Olivia Gentol; her sons, Elijah, Philip and Ian Tecza; her nine grandchildren; her sisters, Carmen Maurer and Connie Maroscher; her brother, David Maroscher; and her nieces and nephews.
