Robert J. “Bob” Brewer, 90, of Dover passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Park Village Health Care Center of Dover.
Born on October 15, 1932, in Dover, he was the son of the late Homer and Olive (Torp) Brewer. He was a 1950 graduate of Dover High School.
Bob honorably served our country in the United States Air Force. He was the owner of Brewer Plumbing and Heating.
Bob was a member of the First Moravian Church of Dover, the Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, and a lifetime member of the Dover Masonic Lodge #59. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors hunting and fishing. He will be remembered by his favorite saying, “Never get old.”
On September 26, 1954, he married Joyce Bair, who survives. He also leaves behind his two daughters; Pamela (Bill) Ruffini of Michigan, and Polly (Mark) Huebner of Dover; along with his five grandchildren; Rob, Mike, Kim, Tim, and Shannon; and eleven great-grandchildren.
