Robert Louis ''Bobby'' Sherrell, 44, of Dover, died Monday, October 1, 2001 in his home.
Bobby was employed by ODOT as a member of the surveying crew for ten years before illness forced his retirement.
Born April 18, 1957 at Dover, he was son of Robert Lee & Jacqueline Houston Sherrell of Dover.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dover. A 1975 graduate of Dover High School, Bobby was a member of the Tornadoes football team and was active in choir. He was a talented musician and had been involved with the local band Cut Men.

Bobby was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Enoch & Lena Sherrell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 6, at 1:00pm in the First Baptist Church, Dover with Rev. Christopher Lowery officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover on Friday from 5-8pm.
