Robert L. Mast

Robert L. Mast, 55, of Dover died Sunday, October 13, 2013 at his home following a year-long battle with cancer.

Born February 5, 1958 in Warren, Ohio he was a son of Mary Troyer Yoder of Bradenton, Florida and the late Lester Mast. He was also preceded in death by his step father, Alvin Yoder; step brother, Willis Yoder and a nephew, Alex McGregor.

Bob was employed as a truck driver for Heartland Express and also owned and operated his own truck for many years. He was a caring and loving father who enjoyed being outdoors, camping and spending quality time with his family.

Bob will be sadly missed by his children, Becky Mast of Gnadenhutten, Shane and Tyler Mast and Brayden Hardesty all of Wadsworth; 15 brothers and sisters including, Allen (Bertha) Mast, Linda (Paul) Yoder, Sarah Mast (James Wolfe), Susan (Tim) Winger, Joe (Donna) Mast, Tina (Howie) Pruden, Celesta (Freeman) Coblentz, Norman (Debby) Yoder and Wayne (Carol) Yoder and his best friend, Cathy Hardesty of Wadsworth.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 15 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Urie Hershberger officiating. Friends can call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Tuesday.
