Robert Lee Reiger

Robert Lee Reiger, 72, of Chesapeake, Virginia passed away on May 29, 2016.

Robert was born Sept. 25, 1943 in Dover, Ohio, the son of the late Robert J. and Ruth (Sterner) Reiger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris; a son, Scott, and his stepfather, Arthur J. Reischman.

He attended Strasburg High School. His retirement years were spent camping and traveling with his wife, Carol (Ringler) with whom he would have celebrated 45 years of marriage on September 24th. He is also survived by his daughter, Tammi (Jeff) Hicks of Strasburg; three grandsons, Corey (Kayla) Henderson of Chester, Virginia, Kyle (Amy) Hicks of Carnegie, Pennsylvania, and Steven Hicks of the home; a great granddaughter, Rhylin; stepdaughters, Debbie (Dan) Tidwell of South Carolina, Diane (Ron) Quintero of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Cathy (Jerry) McColgan of Boca Raton, Florida; a sister, Leona Miller of Baltic; a brother, Ron (Linda) Reiger of Strasburg and a half brother, Steve of Canton.

Fulfilling Bob's wishes, there were no calling hours or services. Cremation was handled by the Cremation & Funeral Services of Tidewater in Norfolk, Virginia.
