Robert Mason

Robert Mason, 84, of Dover died Friday, September 26, 2014 in the Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia.

Born May 22, 1930 in Dover he was a son of the late Robert and Emma Ellwood Mason. Bob was also preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne Mason on May 19, 2001 and his second wife, Jo Ann Patterson Mason on July 14, 2014; four brothers, Ellwood, Paul, Walter and Jim Mason; two sisters, Margaret Hamilton and Betty Schupbach.

Bob retired from General Electric in Coshocton after 25 years of service. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a member of the St. John's UCC in Dover. He was also a member of Coshocton Masonic Lodge, Dover Elks and proudly served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his children, Julie (Paul) Bouza of Westerville, Stacy (Rick) Milazzo of Seven Fields, Pennsylvania and Steve Mason of Sunbury; grandchildren, Emily, Jeremy and Jake Bouza and Vince and Luke Milazzo; sister, Mary Alice Stucky of Michigan.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 30 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Fr. Jimmy Hatfield officiating. Entombment will be at the Dover Burial Park Garden of Peace Mausoleum. Friends can call at the funeral home one-hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
